Still learning how to paint water...

















A "Cogwatch" review (21st May 2015) that looks into game mechanics gives a review of the Sunless Seas experience, in terms of how the game uses negative emotions to build its experience and empathy the player develops for the games characters represented situations. I found the review interesting at least, the sense of space created by the absence of immediate objects of attention and then moments of tension (intense attention) that creates the sense of a journey, in the context of a sea voyage narrative.
